Thanks so much for your kind postings on the "Thanks Matt!" Blog. It really meant a lot to me. I really enjoyed my time working with all of you and value all the hard work that you put into ACCESS. Special thanks to Akiko for supporting all of us, making ASUSA a fun social place and for putting the blog together. Best wishes to everybody as they head off to new positions and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you all again in the future.

Matt, I very much enjoyed working with you.  Not only were you very approachable but you inspired loyalty and hard work through your dedication to your team.   Most importantly, thank you for really taking the time to listen to our feedback.  There were many times where I felt that your decisions really took that feedback into account.   And on a side note,  I always cracked a smile when you would fire up the ol'  development hardware and get into the nitty gritty of it with the best of  the engineers :)

good ones. You managed to keep you sense of humor and perspective
throughout, and I will always appreciate that. And you got me through
my first Karaoke session which was no small task either! Best wishes in

Things to appreciate about Matt

Matt,

There are two big things i appreciated while working for you. The
first i think we all appreciated. When an email thread was discussing
some feature or issue, you were always on top of it and could usually
send out an email that would explain exactly why we were handling the
issue the way we were. The second item comes from visiting Tokyo with
you and Lars. I appreciated your height because no matter where i was,
i could look around and see you and him towering above the crowd and i
was never lost. You were a great boss and i wish you the best in your
next adventure.

  thanks again for going out of your way to investigate my options after I submitted
  material for intellectual-property (patenting) .. I was amazed at your willingness to
  discuss the issue with Tokyo .. The final result was very beneficial to me (cash award).

The valley is small....

Working with a different company and team, now I appreciate more than ever the fact that I had the chance to work with such a great team in SVL. Matt, thanks for giving me that chance and for all your  help and professionalism throughout the past few years. Knowing the valley is small, I hope that we cross paths in the future.
